As 2025 begins, I find myself filled with anticipation and excitement. There’s something magical about a blank piece of paper and the promise of new goals for my business. The start of a new year brings a sense of clarity and renewed purpose, ready to be filled with ambitious dreams and strategic plans.
Two weeks before the new year even began, I had already journaled my goals, reflecting my eagerness to hit the ground running. This proactive approach is crucial for entrepreneurs like myself, who understand that success doesn’t happen by chance, but through careful planning and persistent effort.
Being an entrepreneur is not for the faint of heart. We wear multiple hats, juggling countless responsibilities and dedicating countless hours to our work. From operational tasks to marketing and networking, from financial planning to product development, the workload can be overwhelming. And let’s not forget the hours spent researching, learning, and finding ways to innovate and improve.
For me, personal growth is a fundamental part of my professional journey. Reading books by fellow entrepreneurs has been a consistent source of inspiration and knowledge. Co-Founder and CEO of Sticker Mule, Anthony Constantino, has had quite a year. Normally not controversial on social media, he stepped up to take a stand for freedom of speech. After the first assassination attempt on President Donald Trump last year, Anthony went public with a campaign asking people to stop the volatile rhetoric against Trump and his supporters. Anthony created and posted videos on his social media. He got some flak and lost a little business but remained steadfast in his convictions.
Anthony put a large “Vote for Trump” sign above his factory in Amsterdam, New York. The mayor filed suit against him to take it down because of “safety” issues. Anthony’s attorney told him that if he didn’t comply, he would be arrested and jailed. Instead of backing down, he set up an event for lighting the sign. People even traveled from upstate New York to attend. Just five minutes before the official first lighting, his attorney called to say that he won the lawsuit. This event created huge media exposure for Anthony. Through what he’s learned from all of these challenges, he decided to seek the Congressional seat in NY21, being vacated soon by his friend, Elise Stefanik.
I interviewed Anthony twice on my show last year. He truly is a remarkable man! Anthony is humble, principled and a reminder that you never know where your journey will take you.
